The Munich DigitiZation Center (MDZ) has been bringing the rich collections of the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek (BSB) online since 1997. In the course of this multifaceted major topic "Digital Library", musical collections are also being digitized on an ongoing basis, making music manuscripts, printed music and also libretti available online, among other things. The Munich DigitiZation Center (MDZ) offers an extensive wealth of musicological collections. In addition to copyright-free complete editions of composers such as L. van Beethoven, Franz Liszt, and Robert Schumann, exclusive treasures such as the autographs from the estate of composer Karl Amadeus Hartmann are digitized there.
